In Fact, the Reverse is True

In between emptiness and the room,
in between moonlight and moon,
in between the lentils and the mint,
and the act of questioning,
in between dust and wind,
between golden nest and thick ice,
in the gaps between snow and yesterday
and how is it exactly that we’re rearranged,
between milk and frenzy,
between lemon and luck,
in between bending and bent,
it is not that it doesn’t make sense,
loving you.
